Igor Bocvarov was born on 27 September 1984 in Veles, Republic of Macedonia, as the only son of Mr. Alekso and Mrs. Snezhana Bocvarovi.
At the age of 7, he received a keyboard as a gift from his father, and he started to play for the first time and discovered his talent, with help from Professor Dimo Gjosev, a director of the School of Music Kiro Dimov in Veles.Seeing his virtuosity, talent and potential, Dimo Gjosev recommends that he enrolls music studies, and Igor completed 4 years music studies at the class of Professor Cveta Stamenkovska.
He started to play with different bands from his town, playing with famous music performers from the Macedonian music scene.
In 1996, he became a member of the folklore ensemble Vila Zora from Veles, and attends numerous international folklore and music festivals in Europe.
In 2000, they won the second prize for authentic folklore at the professional international festival in Dijon, France.
In 2001, he became a professional corepetitor for Macedonian folklore (folk dance and songs).
He performs his first seminar for Macedonian folklore in 2001 in Bale, Croatia, attended by around 100 people. Recognizing his virtuosity, frednliness and professionalism, they decided to attend each following seminar he organized.
Thanks to his Manager, Ivan (Bane) Djokovic, who has total confidence and hope in him, Igor started to intensively organize seminars through Europe: Dijon , Lyon, Brest, Monaco, Nice, Marseille,Toulouse (France), Pamplona, Barcelona, Madrid (Spain), Vincenza, Palermo, Ancona (Italy).
He attended Balkan Folklore Seminar, organized by Yannis Konstantinou in Florina (Lerin), Greece, for 3 consecutive years (2002-2004), where he played with many famous people from Serbia, Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey.
At present, Igor Bocvarov and his family live in Hollywood (Florida), where he met the other members of Balkanband and decided to continue their music career in the USA and to entertain you and have fun with you, at the same time reminding you of our Balkan traditions.

Dejan Daskalov was born in Strumica-Republic of Macedonia in 1985 and started to play the piano when he was 8 years old. He finished his primary and secondary music school in Skopje-Macedonia in the piano studio of Prof. Snezana Anastasova-Cadikovska. Dejan has completed three years of studies in UKIM Conservatory of Music in Skopje, Macedonia, under the guidance of Professor Marija Gjosevska. During his studies in Skopje, he often performed within the Conservatory and in concerts throughout Macedonia, including appearances in festivals “Skopje Summer” and “Ohrid Summer”. In 2007, Dejan joined Lynn University-Conservatory of Music in Boca Raton, Florida as a transfer student. His musical experience includes the participation in different national and international music competitions: International competition in Shabac, Serbia- First price; “Arthur Rubinstein” Paris, France- second price; “Gradus ad Parnassum” Kragujevac, Serbia- third price; National competitions in Skopje- 1-st, 2-nd and 3-rd price. He has played chamber music in a different chamber groups and as a choir accompanist. He also took part in a Chamber competition in Shtip, Macedonia and won the 1-st price in the piano duo category. A lot of tours and competitions with choirs are also part of Dejan’s musical experience.
The other side of Dejan’s musical experience is singing, recording, composing music and playing in bands. Singing is definitely something that he enjoys the most and makes him really happy.
His repertoire includes a lot of genres of music starting with Macedonian, Serbian, Croatian pop and folk music, followed by world famous Pop, Rock, Blues, Jazz and of course classical music.
He has been part of a lot of musical bands back in his country, and this year he is part of the Balkan band in Florida.
After finishing the school, Dejan hopes to archive a great success in the field of classical music and also to build a great career as a singer as well.

Kris is born on October 28 1974 in Skopje R.Macedonia where he finishes all of his education finally graduating in Kinesiology in ‘97 His first steps in to the music world are at his earliest age, when he started playing guitar at age of 10.It’s not till the age of 14 he starts playing drums and starts taking music seriously..
I n the next years he plays in various cover and original bends (Rock storms) (Bez oset) accomplishing some studio recordings of original music as well as performing on stage (Pop rock fest)……etc.
All that Rock and roll stopped for Kris when he moved in USA just to accelerate again...
Playing in Detroit with trio TNT (strictly jazz rock) for a short time and then he moves to Florida in year 2001. He joined “Dievercity” local band performing original and cover music, in which Kris played drums only to switch on ritam guitar and vocals and thus “Mad Henry” was born. Further the crew changes few times so finally Kris ends up playing bas.
Although Kris grew up in the Balkans he didn’t play folk music until Tome insisted on teaching him on drums.
Few crews were changed in “Makedonski Melos” Fronted by G. Kuzevski until the final crew with Kris on drums in the shape of “BALKAN BAND”...

Tome started playing saxophone at age of 6 with, and move on to many more instruments: piano, drums, trumpet, clarinet, guitar bass and more . He was born in March 24, 1977 in New Jersey-USA, and his father was the person who influenced him the most and taught him how to play. Tome has played with very famous and popular singers from Macedonia. His musical experience includes playing with a lot of bands like: Balkan band, Dievercity, MadHenry, Blesok, Modern day madness, M Melody ect.
Learned with many cultures of music over 300 show and still going Ive play from Florida to Canada concerts halls party's bars etc.

Tome is a person who likes to produce and record music, learned from a teacher from full sail academy, and still looking for more opportunities. He also did a few albums and singles for artists, and now he is moving on with this band hoping to express himself in playing.

Tome was part of Dievercity INC. Recorading and music porductions, which is one of the Music Engineer to US 1 Multi Level Media.
